DFH Construction is a California Corporation located in Concord, California. On February 1, 1992 DFH Construction took over the operating assets of BCI General Contractor's Northern California Tenant Improvement Division. BCI had established a regional office in Northern California in 1985 providing high quality construction services throughout California.
DFH Construction continues to offer pre-construction management and general contracting services to our clients in the Northern California area. Pre-construction services include overall project organization, scheduling, cost estimating, and value engineering. Construction Management includes all of the services provided within our pre-construction services together with contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, and analysis, contract negotiation and award, field supervision, and quality control.
A number of our staff comes from space planning and construction management backgrounds. These disciplines allow us an understanding and sensitivity to the design process, which, in turn, helps us effectively balance the aesthetic goals of our clients with their cost and scheduling objectives.
